Imbarcazione a fondo piatto costruita nel 1903 ha una storia appassionante.
Un Burcio costruito a Zara, nato per il trasporto di materiali che navigava i fiumi veneti e l'alto Adriatico per approvvigionare Venezia.
Sopravissuto alle due grandi guerre grazie agli affondamenti che vennero provocati per mimittizzarlo e camuffarlo agli invasori.
In seguito, arenatosi nei pressi di Torcello, divenne lo studio di un eclettico artista fino al suo recupero e trasformazione in barca di famiglia da un noto imprenditore della moda e manifattura tessile italiana.
Gli anni sono passati anche per Timoteo che grazie all'amore degli armatori ed alle capacità tecncihe del nostro cantiere ha visto nel 2017 il resauro totale dell'opera viva.
Ben 88 "piane" (madiera dell'ordinata) e ben 176 "sanconi" (ginocchio/staminali ) e di tutto il fasciame dell'opera viva, noncè una nuovo dritto di poppa, un nuovo massiccio dell'elica e tanti altri interventi minori ed adeguamenti tecnici,
Due anni di lavoro e di passione che hanno segnato il più grosso intervento di restauro eseguito nell' Adriatico e oltre.

Timoteo
Flat-bottomed vessel built in 1903 has an exciting history.
A Burcio (barge) built in Zara for the transportation of materials to sail the Venetian rivers and the upper Adriatic to supply Venice.
It survived the two great wars thanks to the sinkings that were caused to hide it and to camouflage it to the invaders.
Later on, when it ran aground near Torcello, it became the studio of an eclectic artist until its recovery and transformation into a family boat by a well-known entrepreneur in Italian fashion and textile manufacturing.
Years have also passed for Timoteo which, thanks to the love of the owners and the technical capabilities of our shipyard, saw the total restoration of the hull in 2017.
As many as 88 "piane" (frame of the bottom) and as many as 176 "sanconi" (knees/stems) and all the planking of the hull, a new sternpost, a new propeller massif and many other minor interventions and technical adjustments.
Two years of work and passion that marked the largest restoration operation carried out in the Adriatic and beyond.
